HI! MY NAME IS
My Story
I studied physical natural sciences at The University of Cambridge. I predominantly studied physics in my undergraduate, with a particular interest in electromagnetism and quantum mechanics. This passion led me to work at The University of Bristol as a research assistant investigating extreme-pressure hydride superconductors following sensational and controversial claims in the field. For my master’s degree I studied in the Cambridge Materials Science Department, researching the use of machine-learning in accelerating crystal structure and property prediction and studying many courses relating to materials in extreme conditions.
At Full Matrix I am working as a research scientist, investigating the repeatability of ultrasound pulse tests in complex pipe geometries across a wide range of conditions, the materials selection for our product given the challenging operating conditions, and the use of machine learning in crack identification.
Out of office
When not at work you may find me: Cosplaying as ’05 Steven Gerrard in a local football team, cheffing up a storm then ruining it with cheddar cheese or checkmating Maxim with immense ease.
