My Story

I studied Mathematics at the University of Cambridge with a focus on Applied Mathematics. In the masters year of the Mathematical Tripos, I studied courses exclusively in Continuum Mechanics spanning a broad range of topics in classical Fluid Mechanics, Waves and Mathematical Methods. My masters essay explored the intricate wave interference pattern behind bodies moving through water, using a combination of theoretical derivation and numerical simulation for the verification of results.

I work as a research scientist, investigating the capabilities of non-destructive testing through guided wave modelling. I am interested in the use of a combination of analytical physics-based models with numerical finite element models and machine learning models.

Out of office

My free time is spent sometimes swimming, often gymming, mostly chilling and always being checkmated by Eddie.
